AFFELDT SA 45
The lateral overhang sealing machine AFFEDLT SA 45 may be combined with any AFFELDT packaging machines of the series SA 05, SA 20, SA 25, and BV 60. After the magazines or news-papers have been sleeve-wrapped, the SA 45 seals the lateral overhang. The film surrounding the bundle is now closed on all sides.

AFFELDT SA 50
The fully automatic side-sealing machine SA 50 can be linked to any AFFELDT film-wrapping machine. After sleeve wrapping, the lateral film surplus of small odd count bundles and single copies is sealed and thus a completely closed bundle is produced. A stack height sensor controls opening and closing of the sealing tools. The lateral seal is produced with a contactless sealing system while the copies pass through the machine. Strapping of small odd count stacks can be eliminated. Reduced space requirement due to extremely short design.
